Product Naming: What is a Name Worth?
BusinessWeek asked that very question about celebrities.
The answer?
- Muhammad Ali: $40 million.
- Jennifer Lopez: $35 million.
- The Donald: $240 million, plus another $40 million in a recent licensing deal.
And the list goes on and on. The BusinessWeek article and accompanying slide show are interesting and worth the read.

It must be great to be rich and famous, preferably alive.
On the news this morning, Oprah Winfry is ranked the top celebrity donator. She donated $50 million dollars last year.
I wonder how much Paris Hilton donates:)
